What is deplicted in the picture of the product is not what you'll receive. The picture is of a male fitting that is screwed onto the dual hose air chuck so the chuck can be attached to an air hose.BTW, the 4 star rating is for the dual hose air chuck and NOT the fitting.
Very handy tool.I had a home-made deflater/gauge but it was old and I didn't trust the PSI indicated.This one matches my other gauges, and is easy to use.The only thing I would add is, I wish it let the air out quicker.Great for anyone venturing off-road with a desire to air down and air back up.Perfect companion to my on board air system.
This gauge appears to work well and the 'voice' feature is handy as is the 'programmable' feature.However, I agree with prior reviewers' comment that one needs 'good aim' to get a good seal. I've been checking tires for 50 years and still need precise positioning to keep air from escaping while trying to check it!I'm not sure why this is such a problem - Accutire needs to come up with a better nozzle design.

I tried these tire gauges, but one or two of them leaked and left me with a low tire.I was not happy.I took them off my new car after a few weeks!
It works pretty well. It is reasonable acurate. I have found it to be acurate but sometimes gives a different reading if I don't fit it on perfectly to the tire. So thus I give it a 4 star. But if you take the time to take 3 readings you will be fine. I do recommend this one and like it.
They shipped two out to me and neither one worked. Amazon handled the returns with no problem but don't waste your time shipping back and forth.
The photo in the ad makes this product appear to be of quality and weight, when it arrived in a envolope it was so light weight I wasn't sure what it was.The metal is cheap pot metal nothing that will stand up over a long period of usage, I would pay a little more for a quality item that you'll only have to purchase one time.
I brought a set of valve stem tire pressure guages hoping that I don't have to check the tire pressure again.
I bought this to deal with tires on a large trailer - dual wheel, tandem axles.The dual chuck grips the valve stem and doesn't require me to hold the inflater chuck once attached.The pressure can then be increased or decreased from the handle.The five foot hose allows you to have your face away from the tires as you adjust their pressure.That makes me more comfortable.The unit is solidly built.
This product lets me know at a glance that my rear dual tires are at proper inflation. Adjusting pressure is very easy with the common fill valve. My installation required me to remove my wheelcovers, remove one lug nut to mount the common valve support, and attach the hoses to the existing valve stems. Sounded easy. I luckily have a 450 ft lb impact wrench to get the lug nut off. I also had to cut a slot in my wheelcover for the support bracket to stick through. Lastly find someone wih small hands to reach between the duals to attach the inner hoses. The installation was more work then I thought it was going to be but it was absolutly worth it. The crossfire support people were very helpfull during my installation. the crossfires came with many mounting adapters and is a very well built product in my opinion.
Longacre is a very respected name for all kinds of racing related products, so the name commands a small premium on the price.You could spend a bit less and still get an accurate tire gauge, but not one with all these features.The rubber bumper and liquid (oil) filling makes this a gauge you can take along with you in your car tool box without worrying about bumps and vibration knocking it out of calibration.The idea of the pressure equalization screw is really what sold me.I've been using it for months, and I expect years of service ahead.
The Longacre Racing liquid filled tire pressure gauge is made with quality and accuracy in mind.I was originally planning to purchase a liquid filled gauge manufactured by Motion Pro, but found the Longacre to be of similar quality and at half the price. I chose liquid filled because it seemed to be a better design for dampening, durability and accuracy; time will tell.
A flat or low pressure spare tire = no spare tire! But spares are a pain to check and inflate. Mine are always buried in a well under a cover and with various tools on top. Some have spares mounted under the car. The inconvenient inaccessibility is why spares are so often flat. This brass and rubber extender enables me to snake the fill tube to an easily accessed part of the car. Now checking the spare tire pressure and adding air doesn't require digging out the tire or crawling under the car. I would give it 5 stars, but have to see how well it holds up over time. If it is anything like their well-built Accu-gage EZ - Air Tire Gauge, I won't be disappointed.
We bought two of these widgets (one for each car) and they are really convenient - as long as the battery lasts.After a few years, the battery fails and you start getting false readings. I took one of them apart to see if the battery could be replaced and found that they are not service friendly - meaning that if you really wanted to replace the battery you could, but you would have to remove a dozen screws from a printed circuit bourd just to get to the battery and I didn't think it was worth the effort. I just replaced them with two old fashioned analog gauges that will probably work forever.
this tire gauge is built with quality materials.I spent a little more money than some of the other gauges hoping it would be of high quality and last me and I made the right choice.it works great and is made well.
This is a fine tire gauge that I had purchased for my RV.Price was right and it works well with dual wheels.
This gauge works on 3 of my tires. On the 4th tire, it cannot depress the valve so it cannot take a reading (another gauge works on this tire). When it works, pressing the bleed button causes the air to very slowly leak out, but the gauge needle does not move when the air is bleeding. It shows the new pressure after the button is released, so I have to press, release, check, press, release, check, press, release, check ...I saw one of these on a friend's motorhome and decided they would be a good safety factor for my motorhome.You only have to fill one easy-to-get-at valve stem and both tires of your dualie set filled to the same pressure.It warns you when your pressure drops more than 10%.And, if one tire has a fast leak or blow out, a safety valve shuts off the air from the good tire so it doesn't go flat, too.The only problem is, you'd expect the kit to come with two sets, since every vehicle with dualies has two sets of dualies.Much to my surprise, there was only one in the package, now I have to order another one.The drawback is the price and the labor to install, which will require a truck tire-shop.
