Milton S445 4 In 1 Valve Tool Review

Who ever thought I'd need a vavle stem tool in Iraq?? Well I did and this transaction was excellent. The valve stem tool arrived to me here in Iraq at my APO address in a reasonable amount of time and the price was reasonable.I'd have no problem with future purchases from the vendor again.Review by Mark Grant, author of Blood of Scotland, available through Amazon.com or Publish America

Accutire MS-6011 Mechanical Tire Gauge 0 - 60 PSI w/ Tread Depth Review

Got it and zipper on case immediately broke.Whatever.I tried it out, worked perfectly.Got rid of the packaging b/c I wasn't going to be returning it.Put it in the glove box.Tried to use it a few weeks later.Didn't work at all.The needle was stuck on 12 psi.The thing feels cheap and flimsy, and it lived up to its feel.

I own a motorcycle and wanted an accurate gauge I could rely upon.I find it easy to use and read (face glows in the dark).Adjustment of the pressure with the relief valve is especially helpful. This gauge is an indispensible addition to my tool set.

Accutire MS-4710B Motorcycle 5-99 PSI Digital Tire Gauge Review

This used to be sold by Sears for $8.95 on sale. Now they only carry the oddly shaped version that is of zero use to many motorcyclists. The only other source that I've found for the real deal, as this is, would be Road Gear and they get about $25-$30 for it.When I found it at Amazon for half that, I did the only sensible thing: I bought TWO of them and placed them in cold storage right away. They are the absolute BEST tool for checking air in standard streetbike rims with the valve stem that points directly at the axle. Can't go wrong, great tool at a great price AND they are available. That may be the biggest plus right there.

Accutire MS-4400B Pistol Grip Digital Tire Gauge Review

I have one of these from the late 1990s and it still works great.I like it so much I bought another recently.

It died after only 2 days -- I tried to read a tire with about 8 psi and it showed "-0.0" on the display. After this, all it would do is show the same thing "-0.0".

So I exchanged it for another one.Sure enough, it worked for dozens of readings, until a few days later I again tried to read a tire with about 8 psi in it.Once again, it will only show "-0.0" after that.

My guess is this is a firmware problem with the new units.

Milton S448 Tire Tread Depth Gauge Review

I bought this because I can' find them anywhere in any local auto parts vendor.I use it to determine when to replace my tires and measure my tires for winter traction (4/32" minimum for snow - tire tread visual indicators are 2/32" so they are useless to me) so no more guessing or finding those lincoln pennies for me.It works very well but is a little messy since the shaft oil rubs all over your fingers.I keep it safely stored away from dust in my toolbox.
