I would give this kit a 5 out of 5 but the soap is more of a sample size. Very, very small. Other than that, the wax works great as well as the other cleaners.

Michelin Tire Totes Review

We have snow tires for our cars, both my husband's honda civic and my honda odyssey. We have racks on our garage wall to store the tires, but I didn't want to accidentally be brushing up against dirty tires on my way in and out of my car, so I bought these to cover the tires while they were stored.

I am pleased with the quality. The covers are not contiguous, they have a strip of hook and loop velcro on the outside and you wrap it around tire and fasten it so it fits the tire snug around the exterior. In the inside, there is elastic and another set of velcro to allow you adjust the size of the inner circle.Everything is very secure, its easy to carry them in the containers.

The only drawback and the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are a tad small for my odyssey's wider tires. They fit, but they cannot completely cover the tire on both sides. You can see how in the picture you can't see the tire itself, only the rims? With the odyssey's tires, if I center the black strip around the tread of the tire, you would be able to see about 1-2" of the tire on either side around in the inner circle. However, since my purpose was basically to cover them on the wall (but still be able to hang them, hence the cover had to have a hole in the middle) all I do is center the cover more toward one side, so on the side that hangs outward, you can't see (or accidentally brush up against) the tire, and on the other side more of the tire is visible (but up against the wall).

Meguiar's Gold Class High Gloss Tire Protectant Gel (16 oz.) Review

I've used this for a couple of years and I love it. Those sprays and foams last only a few days if you're lucky, even less if it rains. This gel lasts much, much longer. It sort of sinks into the rubber and keeps the sidewalls black, if not completely wet-looking. My tires had some browning from new, and it got rid of that, too. It smells good and one bottle will last quite a long while. A small complaint is that you really have to use it sparingly, or else the excess can fly off and put small black spots on your paint. They can be pesky to remove, but I imagine all of these tire gels do that to some degree. Overall an excellent product, and I've even gotten my dad hooked on it, which isn't easy to do.

Blue Magic NA64 Black Jack Black Again Exterior Trim - 8 fl. oz. Review

My black '96 Camry was sun-faded, you couldn't even call it 'black' anymore; it was more of a grayish spotty color.

This stuff was so cheap that I hesitated on buying it, thinking that there was no way such a cheap fix could possibilly work.As I pulled it out of my trunk hesitantly, I poured the clear syrup onto the sun-faded ceiling rubbing it in with some old microfiber wash cloth, then WOW -- immediately the goulish gray turned an even glossy black.I'm not talking that ugly 'primed' black; no, I'm talking shined-up new car black. It looks like I got a new paint job. I decided to write this review as a personal log to help me (maybe my kids in the future) find a product that actually does what it claims.

Maaco and their $450 estimate could now kiss my car's black a$s :P!

Forever Black Tire Gel Kit Review

I began using the Forever Black Tire Gel Kit right after I got my Goodyear Eagle GT's on my 2005 Ford Thunderbird. I like to customize my vehicles so I sent my new tires sent to Diamondback Classics Tires in Conway, South Carolina. Upon their arrival there, Diamondback "sanded" micron by micron almost all of the lettering and lines from the sidewalls to give them what is called a "Smoothie" appearance, and giving the tires an old bias-ply, super smooth appearance. Well, they looked completely awesome upon installation, but they were dust "magnets".

So I ordered the Forever Black Tire Gel Kit and what a difference it made. The Smoothies look like they are nearly always shiney. And they look very, very jet black. If you are a detail-oriented individual, someone who loves to make their car look their best at all times, Forever Black Tire Gel Kit is an inexpensive "freshen-up" for those tires. You may want to do two or three full applications your first time out of the box to get the best, deepest black, and then just maintain your vehicle as usual. I apply it now about once every 6 to 8 weeks (depending on how much I drive)for a lasting effect.

It's easy too. Just FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and apply it SLOWLY for the first couple of rounds or until you get the feel of it and are comfortable with applying it. You may want to have a couple things with you before you start: small stool to sit on, microfiber cloths, small foam brush for around wheel, it is sort of hard to get off your wheels. IN THE EVENT YOU GET THE GEL ON YOUR WHEELS, you can easily wipe it off while wet, but if you missed a spot and it got on your rims and dried, go to a car wash with a pre-soak and high-powered wand, it will come right off. It is a type of dye so you do want to be careful, and make sure you understand the directions.

You won't be disappointed. I hope you have fun with it, I know I have!
Peace!
PadL'

Meguiar's G-7410 Endurance Tire Protectant Gel with Applicator. 10 oz. liquid Review

I was skeptical about trying this product but I wanted to keep my tires looking black without excessive gloss.

Just wash your tires, and use the applicator to apply onto your tires. My tires still look great after 2 weeks of use.I find I will use it twice a month to keep the tires looking great and to protect the tires.

The gel has a fruity smell. As long as you follow instructions, you should not have streaks or water marks.

I trust Meguiar's for all of my car care needs.

I highly recommend this product.

DuPont - Teflon Tire Shine, 22 oz. (TWP2013) Review

Nice product; best tire finish I've experienced.

Easy to apply liquid formula, non-greasy, and dries to what I would call a "satin sheen" rather than a "shine" (which is exactly what I wanted anyway).

Once applied to my tires, the finish lasted about 2 weeks before reapplication was required. It's a bit like car wax for your tires - it sheds/beads water well, and is not greasy like most other tire shine products (so you don't get any residue on the wheel arches when you take the car for a spin).

Highly recommended.

Spray on, walk away - no wiping required.

Meguiar's G12416 Hot Shine High Gloss Tire Gel - 16 oz. Review

This is the best tire gel ive ever used. Not ridiculous shine, but shines enough and lasts for at least a week. Other tire "wets" last 48 hours max. After it wears off the tires just look natural black, just no shine. Should last you at least 10-15 applications depending how much you use each time. I recommend a tire swipe for applying it perfect, It will not go on without some kind of applicator as its not a spray.

Carrand 92143 Cleanmates Tire Gel and Dressing Applicators Review

This thing stands up well to my big truck tires.I use tire gel on them and was worried the thing would fall apart.. well after 8 applications I have not noticed any wear to the sponge, and it applies an even coat of dressing.Would recommend, esp for low profile tires which would make application of dressings quick and efficient.
