Daytona Speed Master Wheel Brush Review

This brush is good for certain rims (the ones that have a lot of spokes or little areas to get inbetween) and certain uses (cleaning the inside of the rim behind the spokes). I tried it on my 5 spoke rims, hoping for a faster way to clean my wheels, but it really did a poor job- some brake dust left (of course, I used all it with various types of wheel cleaning chemicals too- ie: soap water or PS21 wheel cleaner). This is most likely due to the material the brush is made out of. It feels like a medium plastic. Soft enough to damage the rims, but not soft enough to actually wipe of the brake dust. For those parents out there, it's like the prickly part of a baby bottle brush.

If I knew, I wouldn't have bought it. It's just not for my rims. But maybe great for someone elses.

EZ Detail Brush Review

I just received the brush and have not had a chance to use it as yet. However my initial opinion is that it is well made and seems sturdy. Once I have used it I will update my review.

It is durable, safe to use on all wheel types, and even easy to clean. There are no exposed metal surfaces to damage wheels. My search for a wheel cleaning brush is finally over.

Mothers Wheel Brush Review

I'll be honest, I'm not even sure exactly what part of the wheel this brush is supposed to clean.But I needed a brush to clean the rims of my car (which were pretty dirty) and this generally did the trick.First off, I did not use a high pressure water hose, just a normal one, this brush, and a bucket with car soap.And by and large it helped get most of the grime gently off my rims.The bristles are definitely soft, which is good because it won't scratch your rims.At the same time though, because the bristles were soft, it was unable to get out some of the heavy dirt that was caked in.Also, this brush has a relatively wide area so I could clean the outer surface of my tire and rim quickly.However, because it was big, it was difficult getting access to the nooks and crannies of my rims.For that, I recommend getting a Mother's Detail Brush which is more narrow (think of it as dental floss vs. toothbrush) Mothers Detail Brush Set - 2 Pack.The brush itself is quite durable and ergonomic, and not too heavy.One other issue I had is that once I cleaned my wheels once, a lot of dirt got into the bristles and i was unable to wash that color out.Though I don't think it tracks dirt once I washed it out.
