I bought this lugnut wrench earlier this year in order to be prepared for my next flat tire, since lug nuts are now tightened by mechanics using air-compressor-driven wrenches, and I find it impossible to loosen them with a standard lug wrench. The first time I had a flat tire and needed to use this wrench--at night in a cold, relentless rain--the wrench's round, disk-like gearbox snapped in half.

Thin Wall Deep Impact Socket Set with Chrome Protective Plastic Sleeves Review

The deep impact socket set is fine. The plastic jacket on one was cracked when it arrived, but was quickly replaced by the seller.

The socket wasn't quite deep enough to completely tighten the lug nuts down on my friends BMW 550i snow tires/wheels. It kept hitting the edge of the wheel and scratching it (not exactly what why I bought the protected versions...) I took the plastic sleeve off and was then able to fully torque the lug nuts down.

They are cheap, made kinda cheap and eventually get the job done after scratching your rims so be carefull.

Camco 44412 RV Wheel Chock Review

The Amazon picture looks cheap, and flimsy, I hesitated to buy, it's just plastic! The actual chocks - solid, heavy, reassuring. I haven't had occasion to use them yet, but just by hefting them, I'm certain they'll be great. The only downside - I bought these to ride around in the car for a middle-of-the-night-in-the-pouring-rain tire changing emergency. They are good sized and weigh a bit. I still have them in the car, but they aren't feather light for gas mileage.

Michelin Tire Totes Review

We have snow tires for our cars, both my husband's honda civic and my honda odyssey.We have racks on our garage wall to store the tires, but I didn't want to accidentally be brushing up against dirty tires on my way in and out of my car, so I bought these to cover the tires while they were stored.

I am pleased with the quality.The covers are not contiguous, they have a strip of hook and loop velcro on the outside and you wrap it around tire and fasten it so it fits the tire snug around the exterior.In the inside, there is elastic and another set of velcro to allow you adjust the size of the inner circle.Everything is very secure, its easy to carry them in the containers.

The only drawback and the reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 is that they are a tad small for my odyssey's wider tires.They fit, but they cannot completely cover the tire on both sides. You can see how in the picture you can't see the tire itself, only the rims?With the odyssey's tires, if I center the black strip around the tread of the tire, you would be able to see about 1-2" of the tire on either side around in the inner circle.However, since my purpose was basically to cover them on the wall (but still be able to hang them, hence the cover had to have a hole in the middle) all I do is center the cover more toward one side, so on the side that hangs outward, you can't see (or accidentally brush up against) the tire, and on the other side more of the tire is visible (but up against the wall).

Blitz 11930 Tire Hugger Wheel Chock - 2 Pack Review

It's beyond me how others think they should have gotten 4, or one reviewer thinks she only received one.It's clear from the description that this is a PAIR of wheel chocks, not two pair, not one chock.The 2 are NOT "screwed together" as mentioned in another review.The manufacturer attaches them with a plastic fastener called a "christmas tree."It's similar to the plastic fasteners that hold interior door panels on a car.This is removable; the 2 chocks are separated for use.Granted, it's a little difficult to pull them apart, a pair of pliers helps.It would be dangerous to leave the 2 wheel chocks attached as shipped to try to prevent a car or RV from moving.

Now for some actual, useful information about the wheel chocks.I bought these to stabilize my cars when jacking them to service brakes, tires, etc.My garage floor is painted with epoxy paint.Even with the anti-slip additive in the paint, several other wheel chocks I have tried always slipped and moved on the epoxy floor.These Blitz Tire Hugger Wheel Chocks have held firm on the floor every time.As with any wheel chock, it's important to make sure it's firmly wedged between the tire and the floor.A quick firm kick to wedge the chock in place is all I ever need on my slippery garage floor.

I don't think these would be useful outdoors on an unpaved surface, such as with an RV or trailer in the woods.But then, it dozen't seem that's how they are being marketed anyway, and I haven't tried them in this application.For working on a car with a jack or ramps, these chocks do the job.
