I pumped up a motorcycle tire twice. It got so hot that it shut off and stank terribly. This is a children's toy for inflatable swimming stuff. Waste of money.

Accutire MS-5540 300 PSI 12V Air Compressor with Light Review

This product is very poor quality.

Pros:
* Very handy light.
* Cord is long enough for most uses (but might not reach your rear tires if you don't have an auxiliary power plug in the back of your vehicle).

Cons:
* Cannot have both light and compressor running at same time.
* Vibrates like crazy.
* Very slow. It took more than a minute to go from 28 to 30 psi.
* It connects ok, but when you release the locking lever the rubber inside the compressor's valve connector sticks to the tire's valve stem threads and makes it nearly impossible to remove. You loose massive amounts of air pressure in the attempt. I had to return the compressor because I can't see how this can be considered anything other than defective. Maybe this problem is limited to the one I received?

LifeLine AAA 300 PSI 12 Volt DC Air Compressor Review

i have read all the reviews of this type of product and i'm sure glad i didn't go over budget with this one. this thing is noisy for sure but not deafening if you are outdoor. it is slow compared to the station pump but it did a large SUV tire in ten minutes.....not bad i say. the pressure guage is accurate enough when i compared it to the pocket devices. but it is so light, small, easy to use and affordable that you have to accept a few short comings. overall it does the intended job simply good enough for me and i would expect most people to be satisfied also. my one concern with it is that there is no safety blow off system so my wife must pay attention for the ten minutes watching that pressure guage. then again, it is made for adults.

I've had one of these for a few years now and just replaced it after it was stolen from my car.

It's come in very handy over the years and it never once failed.

It has a quick connect/release connector so you don't lose much air when you are attaching or releasing the nozzle. The built in gauge is very convenient as you can see how much pressure is in the tire while it's being inflated.

The emergency light may come in handy if you're inflating the tire in the dark or if you're stranded.

The only drawback may be the speed at which it fills up the tire.
Even in my sedan it took about 300 seconds per tire to fill it from a pressure of less than 10 pounds to over 30 pounds.

Dynaplug 1014 Tire Repair Refill Plug - Pack of 5 Review

Used these on two cars both with run flat tires and they worked great.You simply remove the nail/screw, load the Dynaplug tool and insert it into the hole.It may take 2 or 3 plugs but they eventually stop the leak and you just trim off the excess tail and youre done.Compared to buying a new tire for $200 or $300 its a winner!

Bon-Aire BA121L 120V Air Compressor/Inflator Review

I always hated having to find a gas station to put air in my tires. Also, in the winter this was an unpleaseant task. Now with this compressor I can fill up the tires in my garage in relative comfort. It fills up the tires quickly and is very easy to use. The noise other reviewers refer to doesn't bother me. My only criticism is that you HAVE to have a fairly long extension cord if you want to plug it into your garage outlet and inflate all four tires in one go. I still give it five stars though. I've owned it for 3 years with no problems.

Slime 40001 Power Sport Tire Inflator Review

I have been looking for a portable tire inflator I can use for my motorcycle and with the lack of choices, I deicded to give the Slime Tire Inflator a try.The inflator is really small (a little larger than the palm as the picture indicates) and comes with a case that fit all the wires and the unit itself.The unit draws power only from the battery so you can't plug it into a power outlet from your house.You can either draw power with the alligator clip, a pre wired power source (just like the ones from battery tender), or from a cigarette lighter source.Operation is pretty simple too.You just connect the hose to the unit, connect the power cable and draw power from the battery from whatever one of the three above methods and flip the power switch on the unit.

Now the bad... since it's being labeled as a portable inflator, the casing of the unit look very cheap and filmsy.Just like the previous reviewer mentioned, the unit is obnoxiously loud and vibrates like crazy.Finally, it did take almost 5 minutes to inflate my motorcycle tire from 20 to 30psi so I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone trying it on much larger car tires.The owners manual did say that users should not use the unit for more than 8 minutes at a time which I assume wouldn't even be sufficient to add 5 psi of air into a car tire.

Overall, I think the product does a good job of inflating small tires on the go but I am very concerned about its useable life.With the way the unit vibrates while inflating tires and the filmsy looking case, I would not place much confidence on it to last forever.However, if you own a motorycle/ATV and need an inflator on the go, I would suggest this productsince a few tube of air catridges cost just as much as this.
