The Amazon picture looks cheap, and flimsy, I hesitated to buy, it's just plastic! The actual chocks - solid, heavy, reassuring. I haven't had occasion to use them yet, but just by hefting them, I'm certain they'll be great. The only downside - I bought these to ride around in the car for a middle-of-the-night-in-the-pouring-rain tire changing emergency. They are good sized and weigh a bit.
