We bought two of these widgets (one for each car) and they are really convenient - as long as the battery lasts.After a few years, the battery fails and you start getting false readings. I took one of them apart to see if the battery could be replaced and found that they are not service friendly - meaning that if you really wanted to replace the battery you could, but you would have to remove a dozen screws from a printed circuit bourd just to get to the battery and I didn't think it was worth the effort.
