poor for the motorcycle. this thing is quality, through and through. the gauge seems to be accurate and precise. the rubber housing for it is really a great idea since i often drag the hose end while wrapping it up. only thing is that i can't get it to seal around the valve stem of my motorcycle. the straight-on fitting won't go since the chuck is too long and the angled fitting (which is why i bought this item) is angled too acutely to get a good grab.
if only this came with a right-angled chuck!

J S Products (steelman) (JSP97952) Digital Tire Inflator Review

Doesn't work like I thought it would. It is supposed to work like this: set your target to 32 psi (for example). Push the (+) button to inflate. During the time that the tire is at less than 32 psi there should be no sound. Reach 32 psi and there should be a continuos tone, and then over 32 psi it should beep, beep, beep. First of all it behaves backwards to that. While the tire is less than 32 psi it beep, beep, beeps. Then over 32 psi it is silent. This whole beeping thing is inaccurate - to say the least. Depending on your reaction time you could be 2-3 psi over after it continously beeps and - since it was beep, beep, beeping up to your target pressure - you have discern when it has stopped beeping and went to continuos tone. So, besides being backwards, it is just confusing anyway. I would prefer a unit that would inflate until it reaches your target pressure and then dump the extra pressure to the atmosphere. This would be like the one at your local gas station. The inflate (+) and deflate (-) buttons are not intuatively placed either. As you hold the unit in your hand so that you can read the display they have the inflate (+) button on the bottom and the deflate (-) button on the top. Huh? And lastly, the clamp chuck is not all that great. You have to hold the chuck just about perfectly straight on the valve stem or else it leaks air. Too much trouble and too much money for too little quality.

Tire Minder Valve Stem Tire Pressure Guages - 36psi Review

I brought a set of valve stem tire pressure guages hoping that I don't have to check the tire pressure again.

The pressure gauge is made three parts:
- A metal valve stem tire cap that thread to the valve stem.
- A clear see through plastic cap on top of the metal cap.
- A color stick (yellow, green, or red) inside the plastic cap that sticks out when tire pressure is low.

Out of the box, the color stick indicator is visible since there is no pressure exerts on it. When it it putting on the value stem on the tire, the stick will be invisible if the pressure is above the designed psi.

So you don't have to bend down and check the tire pressure again by just walking around the car and see if any of the gauge has color stick visible on it. If it is, you need to add more air to the tire.

You can buy the Valve Stem Tire Pressure Guages at 32, 36psi.

However, after just one day of use, out of four gauges, one has its plastic cap and yellow stick falling off and the other has its yellow stick comming out even thought the pressure is correct. So DOA at 50%.That is totally unacceptable for a simple device like this.

This product lets me know at a glance that my rear dual tires are at proper inflation. Adjusting pressure is very easy with the common fill valve. My installation required me to remove my wheelcovers, remove one lug nut to mount the common valve support, and attach the hoses to the existing valve stems. Sounded easy. I luckily have a 450 ft lb impact wrench to get the lug nut off. I also had to cut a slot in my wheelcover for the support bracket to stick through. Lastly find someone wih small hands to reach between the duals to attach the inner hoses. The installation was more work then I thought it was going to be but it was absolutly worth it. The crossfire support people were very helpfull during my installation. the crossfires came with many mounting adapters and is a very well built product in my opinion.

Dunlop Roadsmart Sport Touring Rear Tire - 58/Black Review

I've been thru quite a few tires on my motorcycles, often trying any one brand/model two times, front and rear.I've tracked all of the miles on each tire, along with dates changed and so far these tires have had the most traction with decent life.I know every rider and bike will get different miles on a given set of tires, so I can say with all of the ones I've personally used, these tires are a great combination.The only drawback is the front didn't last as long as I would like, but I'd rather have a little extra traction up front, if anywhere.

My riding habits are:
70%Daily commuting - 30 miles round trip, all weather.
15%Light touring - I try to avoid interstates when possible (take the good U.S./state highways)
15%Mountain/curvy roads - I'm good for getting out and tearing up the good stuff; no chicken strips here!

The tires wear evenly, except like mentioned before, the front wears quick.Definitely a good value.

I had to call to order the chains since my size wasn't listed.I had to tell him 5+ times the size of my tires.I figured I was in trouble at that point, but thought I go ahead and give it a try anyway.

About the quality of the chains.They seemed rather cheap and not heavy duty.Maybe that's ok for a car with low-profile tires and they need to be small.But for my truck, they look like they'd snap in one use.

Pencil Type Tire Gage Straight Chuck Passenger Car Review

I owned this guage for 15 years and it worked well.MADE in USA, Chicago, or at least it was, and now have to replace it because I forgot and left it on the hood of truck and wife left with it on there.

It has clear wide spacing of numbers so reading between the 10's and 40's etc, is easy.The seal on the tire could be a bit better, and isn't as good as the vair unit, but again this one is made in the USA.Anyone contemplating buying one should ALWAYS look for the valve release kind so that you can read the thing once the unit comes away from the tire.It has a right angle on the head which seems to fit the angled head of modern tire stems.Basil is plastic as is the lense.Never measured accuracy, but never found it to be far off when cross checked with another unit (maybe the checked one was not accurate, who knows...)

I will buy this one again, and maybe while I am ordering it, get a rubber cover, and another one with the flexible hose to try it out...tho I doubt the hose will last as rubber breaks down over time and this one will never have that issue.Northern tool has a better price on it...too, but not sure if the shipping charges equal out or which way is better.

UPDATE:From what I see in the store, the dial doesn't say made in USA anymore, so I don't think these are made STATESIDE as they were.Still looks like the same quality guage tho.

Accu-gage - Chek A Spare Review

A flat or low pressure spare tire = no spare tire! But spares are a pain to check and inflate. Mine are always buried in a well under a cover and with various tools on top. Some have spares mounted under the car. The inconvenient inaccessibility is why spares are so often flat. This brass and rubber extender enables me to snake the fill tube to an easily accessed part of the car. Now checking the spare tire pressure and adding air doesn't require digging out the tire or crawling under the car. I would give it 5 stars, but have to see how well it holds up over time. Victor 22-5-60097-M Tire Gauge Digital Display Review

We bought two of these widgets (one for each car) and they are really convenient - as long as the battery lasts.After a few years, the battery fails and you start getting false readings. I took one of them apart to see if the battery could be replaced and found that they are not service friendly - meaning that if you really wanted to replace the battery you could, but you would have to remove a dozen screws from a printed circuit bourd just to get to the battery and I didn't think it was worth the effort. I just replaced them with two old fashioned analog gauges that will probably work forever.

the brake dust shield works well.i haven't seen LESS brake dust so far, but when i wash the wheels the dust comes off A LOT easier than before.very little to no scrubbing, it just wipes right off.i think i read some place there's some sort of magnetic charge or bond that's formed that keeps the brake dust from attaching too deeply/firmly to the wheel, hence the easy wipe off.my guess is my wheels will look nice longer over time if i keep using this stuff.doesn't hurt that it's eco friendly, non-toxic, etc....

Wagan EL2262 Fast Air Auto Compressor Review

It's smaller, lighter, and relatively quieter than my previous el cheapo $19.95 compressor. Took a little less than a minute to add 5 psi to a 195-60R14 tire. The clamp/connector seems to be more sturdy than my other one.

What I didn't like: The rubber air hose feels fragile (not braided like others) so be careful if you wind it around the unit. No storage for the power cord (I just wrap it around the unit). Also, it didn't have a fuse built into the 12V power plug, so you do need to give it a rest every now and then for the big jobs. Other than that, it's a decent pump and it sure beats a trip to the gas station to pay two bits to use theirs.

Pilot Automotive CZ-101R Red LED Tire Valve Cap Light Review

This is the worst valve cap I ever bought. I been buying different type of LED valve cap on Ebay and Amazon and this is by far the WORST quality. The whole thing is made from cheap plastic. The light sensor DOES NOT work. The battery runs out in less than a week. The clear plastic covering the top came out the first day I used it. The whole thing is huge compared to other valve cap LED.
