I ordered this and received confirmation that it was on its way.
A couple of days later I get an email that they were actually out
of this model and they screwed up by sending me a shipping confirmation.
Then offered to sell me the updated model (for more money of course..
I refused it of course.
One would think these companies would understand that when you screw up
a customer's order, its good business sense to eat some profit or even
go in the hole a little to stay in the good graces of potential customers

The item description is "Shields" - a plural word. The picture shows an assortment of shields ,Clear, Dark Smoke, and Smoke.But the actual delivery only included one shield, a smoke.
I was one of the first non OEM owners of the R5000.Installed it in my American Coach (2005).This item is standard on 2008 and later coaches by American - a luxury line of Fleetwood.Anyway, my experiences have been great, love this multi tasking machine. Have the side view cameras and replaced my rear B&W camera with the Sony color unit sold by Lectronix.The folks at Lectronix are great. Helped me design the retrofit so it was smooth with minimal adaptations.They even sent me the cables to convert the existing B&W camera to the color Sony using existing internal cabling.
If you want to have an effective on-board air system this tank should be on your list of things to get.It provides a reservoir of air that enables your compressor build up a reserve.This tank works well for me with a low-volume compressor and would be even better with a high-volume compressor.The tank is tough as nails, will hold high air pressure, and has five outlet openings for nearly limitless on-board air solutions.
These things are an accident waiting to happen.Don't buy them unless you are absolutely certain they will work for your application.Any bend in the hose will cause them to leak.I returned from a short camping trip to find both of my inside tires completely out of air.I'm just glad that the trip was not at highway speed for any length of time.It could have been disastrous.
Nice quality seat, easy to put together... I'm not real mechanically inclined and it only took me about 10 minutes.5 bolts and it comes with everything but a phillips screwdriver.Sam's Club has them for $29 though... better to pick one up there.
This was a great little unit. This was installed on my grandsons 74 customvolkswagon to power his air horn. He loved the sound.
