Ideally I wanted an on board air compressor in my new FJ Cruiser for going off road.But I needed an air compressor now, so I opted for the portable kit thinking I would install it at a latter time.Now that I have it in hand and have used it, I am most likely going to keep it as a kit. It works perfectly on the FJ's 32" tires and on my wifes Honda Civic it fills them within seconds.When putting air in bikes, it puts out so much air you have to watch out not to blow the tires.I showed a friend of mine how well it worked and he ordered one for himself that same day.

This is a great little tank where space is limited to mount the tank and air compressor for your air horn.Its only shortcoming is the lack of a moisture bleed [...].I had to replace my first tank because of a HUGE amount of rust and water that builds up in the tank (built-up condensation due to temperature extremes).Now I manually bleed the tank every month or so.
Viair 20001 200 PSI Ultra Duty Onboard Air System This was a great purchase. It comes with everything you need to install. In my case it was installed in a 2010 Ford F-350 and I needed to go to Home Depot and pick up a couple of steel tubes to make if fit between the frame and passenger side of the bed. I had it up and running in about 2.5 hours. This model is a monster, it's all the system it says it is. Great buy!!!
I purchased this system to replace a Siege Engineering air system that failed prematurely. I am very pleased with that fast fill times that are achieved by the 325C compressor and the much longer blow times for my train horns due to the larger air tank. The air chuck on the tank also makes it nice to fill my tires and power small air tools. I recommend this system without hesitation.
