It's smaller, lighter, and relatively quieter than my previous el cheapo $19.95 compressor. Took a little less than a minute to add 5 psi to a 195-60R14 tire. The clamp/connector seems to be more sturdy than my other one. What I didn't like: The rubber air hose feels fragile (not braided like others) so be careful if you wind it around the unit. No storage for the power cord (I just wrap it around the unit). Also, it didn't have a fuse built into the 12V power plug, so you do need to give it a rest every now and then for the big jobs. Other than that, it's a decent pump and it sure beats a trip to the gas station to pay two bits to use theirs.
